Do you offer an initial intro/consultation for first time clients?

Yes. I offer a 30 minute complimentary video call for new clients.

Do my travel plans need to be a big vacation to hire you?

Absolutely not. I can simply recommend and book you a hotel for a destination that you have predetermined. I can even book you a hotel that you selected and offer you my perks. I love itinerary building, but no trip is too small or too big for us to work together.

Do you handle booking Airbnbs?

No. I can not book for you. But I love Airbnb and I am happy to include the research for finding the right one if that is the avenue my clients want to go. I do however have a number of relationships globally at incredible homes, villas and apartments that I can book for you with Luxury Villa Rentals, Plum Guide, Thinking Traveller, HVN, OneFineStay to name a few.

Do you do last minute trip planning and booking?

Yes. You can text me with a need to go somewhere the next day and I will make it happen.

Does luxury mean you only book 5 star hotels?

No. I love sustainable boutique luxury hotels or villas or apartment stays and have a knack for finding luxury design-forward or ecolodge type accommodations all over the world.

What if I/we have a small budget can I still work with you?

No problem. Luxury doesn’t have to mean big budget. When we do our initial consultation we can decipher the type of service I can offer to ensure you make the most of your budget with your actual trip experience vs. spending it in the planning phase or working with me.

Do you handle booking flights?

I do for corporate, retainer or VIP clients and occasionally can package flights with travel arrangements. Depending your travel needs and flight class, I can offer you a flat rate for each flight I book if it’s a dealbreaker for you. But I don’t feel comfy asking clients to spend more on already overpriced flights. I do however help research initial flights and make recommendations both for the sake of planning to/from locations (or in multi destination travel) but also in consideration of budget and timing. (I am working on efficiencies in flight booking with AI to hopefully extend this service more comprehensively)

Do you charge to plan travel?

Working with me means a fully custom planning experience. Once I understand your travel intentions and needs; I can provide you with my planning fee rate and package options so you can decide the investment you want to make and how we can work together. I can handle booking only your hotels or I can plan everything from what you pack to where you eat.

Can you add my rewards numbers (ie. Hyatt Member #) to a booking?

Yes, please. I gather your Member ID# and profile information and apply it to the reservation before booking anything on your behalf. The rewards are yours.

What is the difference between a travel advisor and agent?

The word agent (in LA at least) makes me kinda cringe because it has a very inauthentic salesy connotation. The only sales I am doing is passionate travel talk with YOU. I do say travel agent at times because it is more familiar to people, but really there is no difference.
